Unit Of Measures

Units of Measure (UOM) are used to define and manage different units of measure for products, users, storage, and time periods in various units such as Each, kilograms, days, months, GB,  hours and more.

 To create Unit of Measure, goto  Items and Inventory > Settings > Units
  (or) 
 Setup > Inventry > Units > Addnew

Fill in the Required Fields,

  • Unit Abbreviation: Enter a unique abbreviation for the unit of measure.Example: EA (for Each), KG (for Kilogram), GB (for Gigabyte).
  • Descriptive Name: Provide a descriptive name for the unit of measure.Example: Each, Kilogram, Gigabyte.
  • Decimal Places: Select the appropriate decimal place setting for the unit of measure from the dropdown menu.User Quantity Decimals option allows you to define the precision for quantities involving this unit.
