Productions

The Productions list is the register of finished goods coming off the floor — every production run across all work orders, with the item made, the quantity and where it went into stock. It is the output side of manufacturing, matching the Issues list on the input side.

What the list shows

ColumnDescription
WorkorderThe order the goods came off. Click through to it.
DateWhen production was recorded.
ItemWhat was made. All Items shows every product.
LocationWhere the finished goods went. All Locations shows every warehouse.
QuantityHow many units.
StatusDraft or processed.
Average batch size is worth watching over time. Runs getting steadily smaller usually means production is reacting to individual orders rather than planning ahead, and the setup cost per unit climbs with it.

What to use it for

  • Confirming that what the floor reports finished has actually been recorded in stock.
  • Finding work orders issued but never produced against — material consumed with no output.
  • Checking output by item or location over a period.
