Customer Tasks
The Tasks list serves as an internal activity tracker specifically for customer-related actions. It allows your team to schedule, assign, and monitor follow-ups, meetings, or administrative requirements linked to a specific client. This ensures that no customer request or internal milestone is overlooked.
You can access this dashboard by navigating to Customer Module > Tasks Tab. The list provides a clear overview of work progress and accountability across your sales and support teams.
Field Definitions for the Tasks List
- Task Title: A short, descriptive name for the activity (e.g., "Payment Follow-up" or "Requirement Gathering").
- Customer: The parent company or individual client associated with this specific task.
- Assigned To: The internal staff member responsible for completing the task.
- Priority: Indicates the urgency of the task (e.g., Low, Medium, High).
- Status: Shows the current progress of the task (e.g., Not Started, In Progress, or Completed).
- Due Date: The deadline by which the task must be finalized.
- Actions:
- Edit: Click to update progress, change the assignee, or extend the deadline.
- Delete: Remove a task from the list if it is no longer required.
New Task Form
The New Task form is a comprehensive tool used to create and delegate customer-specific activities. By accurately filling out this form, you ensure that every team member knows exactly what needs to be done, for whom, and by when.
Ensure all mandatory fields (marked with an asterisk *) are completed to maintain a clear workflow and accurate reporting.
Task Details and Assignment
- Task Title*: Enter a clear name for the task. This should be easily identifiable in the list view.
- Customer*: Select the relevant customer from the dropdown to link this activity to their profile.
- Assigned To*: Choose the internal employee who will be responsible for executing this task.
- Priority*: Set the level of urgency (Low, Medium, High, or Urgent) to help your team prioritize their daily workload.
- Task Status*: Define the current state of the task. Usually, new tasks are set to Not Started.
- Due Date*: Select the target date for completion from the calendar picker.
Description and Notes
- Description/Details: A large text area to provide in-depth instructions, meeting agendas, or specific context required for the person performing the task.
Note: Our system centralizes these tasks within the Customer Profile, allowing any authorized user to see the full history of interactions and pending work for that client.
