Pack Setup

Pack Setup

Pack Setup is where you define what you sell. A pack bundles a price, a user limit, a storage limit and a set of enabled modules, and every company you create must sit on one. Getting the packs right before you sell anything saves re-pricing customers later.

Overview

The screen has two tabs. Pack Setup defines the pack itself — what it contains and who it is for. Pack Prices sets what it costs in each currency and sales type.

Subscription modules

On/off set of features controls which ERP modules a pack includes. All Features turns on everything. This is the main lever between a starter pack and a full one.

First month discount option

FieldDescription
DiscountThe reduction applied to attract new customers.
Discount for durationHow long the discount lasts before full price applies.

Trial validity setup

Set the trial period — one month, three months, whatever suits the market. Give at least a month: customers need enough time to enter real data before they can judge the system, and a trial that ends before they have finished setup converts badly.

Post-trial

When the trial ends the subscription moves to the paid price, with any configured discount applied for its discount duration first.

Privileged pack

A private pack for specific customers, sister companies or parent companies at a reduced or zero price. Privileged packs are not shown to everyone, so they can carry terms you do not want on your public price list.

Long term validity packs

Packs with extended validity, for customers committing to a year or more in exchange for a better rate.

AI credit

FieldDescription
AI Credit includedCredit granted with the pack.
AI Credit sale price (per USD)What you charge for credit beyond that.

Currency and sales type

The Pack Prices tab holds one price per currency and sales type combination — the same pack can be priced differently for different markets and for one-off versus recurring sale.

A pack with no price in the customer's currency cannot be sold to them. If a company creation fails with a pack price error, this tab is where it is missing.

Reseller plans

Packs typed as reseller or accountant let you onboard partners rather than end customers, and their usage is then visible in Reseller Usage.

Service item

Every pack connects to an ERP service item so the subscription can be invoiced. Use an existing service item or create one — without it the pack cannot raise an invoice.

Managing packs

ActionEffect
Insert New PackAdds the pack.
Clone This PackCopies an existing pack as a starting point — the fastest way to build a tier.
Delete This PackRemoves it. Not possible while companies are subscribed to it.
Changing a price affects new sales only. Companies already on the pack keep the price they were sold at until their subscription is changed in Company Subscriptions.
