Activity Types
Activity Types name the kinds of work a project progresses through — excavation, erection, testing, commissioning. Recording progress against a named activity is what turns "the job is about half done" into something you can bill and defend.
Where to find it
Go to TenderPro > Settings > Activity Types.

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Type Name | The activity, named as your site staff would describe it. |
Progress reporting
Progress against an activity is recorded in stages — 25% through to 100% — so a long activity can be reported as it advances rather than only when it finishes.
Define activities that match how you actually bill. If the client certifies by milestone, the activity list should follow those milestones — progress recorded against a different breakdown has to be re-mapped before every bill.
Managing the list
| Action | Notes |
|---|---|
| Add | Creates an activity type. |
| Edit | Renames it. |
| Delete | Blocked while progress records reference it. |
