Woocommerce Items list and its First Synchronization

Woocommerce Items list and its First Synchronization

Woo Items lists the products in your store alongside their ERP stock records, and handles the first synchronisation between the two. Once an item is linked, stock levels and prices stay aligned instead of drifting apart every time something sells.

Product Details

FieldDescriptionExample
Product IDThe unique identifier WooCommerce assigns.#101
Product NameThe product's name.Widget A
SKUThe stock keeping unit, used for inventory management. This is what links to the ERP item.SKU-12345
Regular PriceThe standard price.100.00
Selling PriceThe current price, which may include a discount.90.00
Total Sales CountUnits sold to date.150
The SKU is what ties the two systems together. A product with no SKU, or one that differs from the ERP stock ID, cannot link — and it shows up in the failure log rather than in your stock.

Documentation for Variations Sync with ERP Screen

The Variations Sync with ERP Item screen brings product variations into the ERP for the first time and manages stock updates from then on, so inventory stays level across both systems.

Screen Elements Breakdown

ElementWhat it shows
SKUThe variation's stock keeping unit.
Variation detailsThe attributes that distinguish it — size, colour.
ERP Stock IDThe item it maps to, once linked.
StockThe quantity held.

Workflow

  1. Confirm categories are synced and mapped first — see Categories.
  2. Sync the items from the store.
  3. Check each product has matched to an ERP stock item by SKU.
  4. Resolve anything unmatched, then sync variations.
  5. From this point stock updates flow automatically.

Additional Notes

The first sync is the one that needs attention. Products that fail to match now will keep failing on every subsequent sync, so it is worth clearing the list completely before relying on automatic updates.
