Ehsan
Ehsan tracks a charitable amount collected alongside your sales. A configured contribution is added to invoices, accumulates against the customer, and is paid out when you remit it — so giving is recorded rather than reconstructed at year end.
Where to find it
Go to Banking > Ehsan.
What the list shows
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Customer | Who the contribution came through. |
| Invoice | The invoice it was collected on. |
| Date | When. |
| Invoice Ehsan Amount | The contribution on that invoice. |
| Ehsan Item Amount | The item-level component, where item-based pricing is used. |
| Customer Ehsan Amount | The customer's accumulated total. |
| Ehsan Total Amount | The total collected. |
| Total Payable Ehsan Amount | What is still to be paid out. |
| Status | Collected or Paid. |
Filters
Filter by customer, bank account and date range. Collected Only narrows to what has not yet been remitted, and Show Completed brings back what has. A valid date range is required before the report will run.
Collected is not the same as given. Money sitting in Total Payable has been taken from customers on the understanding it would be passed on — it is a liability until it is, and worth remitting on a schedule rather than when someone asks.
Making a payment
Make Payment remits collected amounts from a bank account, and the available balance is shown before you commit. Paid entries move to Paid.
