Campaign Group Contacts
Campaign Group Contacts is where people are added to a campaign group. A group created in Campaign Groups starts empty, and this is the screen that fills it, either by picking contacts individually or by selecting them in bulk.
Where to find it
Go to CRM > Settings > Campaign Group Contacts.
Adding contacts
- Choose the group from Select Group.
- In the contacts section, search for a specific person, or browse the list.
- Tick individual contacts, or use the header checkbox to select all.
- Click Add Contact.
What the screen offers
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Select Group | The group being populated. |
| Search | Find a particular contact rather than scrolling. |
| Select all | The header checkbox selects every contact shown. |
| Add Contact | Commits the selection into the group. |
Take care with select all — it selects everything currently listed, filters included. Adding every contact to a marketing group is the fastest route to complaints and to your domain's sending reputation being damaged.
Keeping groups current
- Review groups before a campaign. People change roles and leave.
- Remove anyone who has asked not to be contacted, promptly.
- A smaller group of genuinely interested recipients outperforms a large indiscriminate one.
