Direct Sales Delivery
Direct Sales Delivery issues goods to a tender client without going through a sales order first. It opens the standard delivery form, reached from TenderPro so material can be despatched against contract work in one step.
Where to find it
Go to TenderPro > New > Direct Sales Delivery.
When to use it
| Situation | Use |
|---|---|
| Goods go straight out to the client against the award | Direct Sales Delivery. |
| Material is going to your own site team | Move — an internal transfer, not a sale. |
| The client is being billed for work done | Invoice. |
A delivery to the client and a transfer to your own site are different transactions. The first hands over ownership and leads to a bill; the second keeps the material yours until it is installed — recording one as the other misstates both stock and revenue.
