Overview

The Task View in the TamilAccounting system provides a comprehensive overview and management interface for individual tasks within projects. This view is crucial for tracking the progress, status, and details of tasks assigned to team members.

Details in Task View

  1. Task Overview:

    • Task Name: The name of the task (e.g., "December Tasks to Arun").
    • Priority: The priority level of the task, which can be Low, Medium, or High (e.g., Low).
    • Start Date: The date when the task is scheduled to start (e.g., 03/12/2022).
    • Due Date: The deadline for completing the task (e.g., 03/12/2022).
    • Status: The current status of the task, such as In Progress, Completed, or Pending (e.g., In Progress).
    • Task Created For: The project to which the task is associated (e.g., "Project").
    • Task Created To: The project or specific phase within the project that the task belongs to (e.g., "TamilAccounting Development and Testing").
  2. Description:

    • A space for a detailed description of the task (e.g., "Here all the tasks will be added for December").
  3. To-Do List:

    • Add New Task: A button to add subtasks or additional items to the task.
    • Subtasks: Lists all the subtasks associated with the main task. Each subtask includes:
      • Created By: The person who created the subtask (e.g., "Created By Varadha on 23/12/2022").
      • Subtask Description: A brief description of the subtask (e.g., "Virtual item->ecommerce company. the edit popup UI collapsed. needs to be checked and updated").
      • Delete Option: A trash icon to delete the subtask if needed.
  4. Details Section:

    • Billable: Indicates whether the task is billable or not (e.g., No).
    • Assigned To: The team member responsible for the task (e.g., MYS).
    • Public Task: Indicates whether the task is visible to the public or only to the team members (e.g., No).
  5. Task Actions:

    • Pin: Pin the task for easy access.
    • Edit: Edit the details of the task.
    • Repeat: Set the task to repeat on a scheduled basis if needed.
