New Opportunity
An Opportunity is a qualified prospect who has a high probability of becoming a customer. An Opportunity should have a success point your product or service can bring an opportunity to your revenue. The interest of a customer turned as opportunity and which will be eventually turned as result of making it good sales and with that make some good revenue. Salespeople should ensure the opportunity is a good-fit for what they're selling.
To create a new opportunity you need to choose the customer and volume of estimated business and also the other details of an organization and its connected customer with us. And type of business whether existing or new and also some of status and drop downs, which will help you to get it work here.
To create a new Opportunity , go to CRM > New > Opportunity .
Fill the Fields
- Opportunities Name: Enter a unique name for the opportunity to clearly identify it within the system.
- Organization Name: Input the name of the organization associated with this opportunity.
- Currency: Select the currency in which financial transactions related to this opportunity will be conducted.
- Amount: Enter the potential value of the opportunity.
- Business Type: Select the type of business (e.g., Existing Business, New Business) from the dropdown menu.
- Expected Close Date: Choose the date by which the opportunity is expected to close.
- Lead Source: Select the source from which the lead was generated (e.g., Cold Call, Existing Customer).
- Assigned To: Choose a user or team member to whom this opportunity is assigned for follow-up or management.
- Sales Stage: Select the current stage of the sales process for this opportunity (e.g., Not Started, Complete, Testing).
- Status: Set the current status of the opportunity (e.g., Active, On Hold).
- Customer: Enter the name of the customer associated with the opportunity.
- Contact Name: Provide the contact name at the customer's organization.
- Custom Information: Enter any additional information that may be relevant to this opportunity.
- Description Details: Provide a detailed description of the opportunity, including any critical factors or conditions.
- Add Field : The custom field option allows you to add additional fields to forms as needed. By default, custom fields are only accessible from the setup menu. To enable custom fields on other forms, go to Setup > Preferences, and enable the relevant option. This will allow you to see an "Add Field" button on any form, through which you can create custom fields. You can also specify the data type for each field, such as dropdown menus, text boxes, or checkboxes.
Click "Insert New Opportunity" to save the information and Confirm the Opportunity.
