The Bank Deposit View is the full record of funds received into a bank or cash account. It documents income not tied to a sales invoice — capital introduced, interest, refunds, cash banked — with the lines and ledger entries behind it.

Deposit Data

ReferenceThe unique internal identifier.
DateWhen the funds were recognised.
Created By / Created OnWho recorded it and exactly when.
BranchThe unit the deposit was recorded under.

Bank Deposit Information

FieldDescription
FromThe payer category and party, where one was selected.
Into (Bank Account)The account receiving the funds.
Payment TypeHow the money arrived.
AmountThe total received.
CurrencyThe currency of the transaction.

Line Details

Each line with its ledger account, amount and memo — the breakdown of where the money came from.

Bank / Cash AccountDebited — funds arrive.
Income or party accountCredited — the source.

Bank Deposit Status

StatusMeaning
UnreconciledRecorded but not yet matched to a statement.
ReconciledMatched and confirmed.
VoidReversed, with the ledger entries undone.

Action Buttons

Edit where permitted, Print for a receipt, and Void to reverse the deposit.
