Converting the estimate

Where the customer accepts, convert the estimate into a sales order. The items, quantities and prices carry across, so the order matches what was agreed.

Re-check the figures before converting an older estimate. An estimate is built from judgement rather than firm costing, and the assumptions behind it may not have survived the intervening weeks.
