The Customer Branch List View in TamilAccounting ERP provides a detailed overview of all customer branches within the system. This screen is designed to help users manage and interact with branch records, offering filtering options, search capabilities, and quick actions for each branch. It’s an essential tool for businesses that manage multiple branches for their customers, ensuring that all branch-related information is easily accessible and up-to-date.

Key Sections:

  1. Filter and Search Options:

    • Salesman: Use the dropdown menu to filter branches based on the assigned salesperson. This helps in managing and reviewing branches handled by specific sales personnel.
    • Tax Groups: Filter branches by the tax group they fall under, such as GST. This is useful for managing branches that operate under different tax regimes.
    • Search: Enter keywords or specific information to search for a particular branch. This feature enables quick access to branch details.
  2. Branch List:

    • Branch Name: Displays the name of the branch. This field provides a quick reference to identify the branch associated with each customer.
    • Name: The name of the customer associated with the branch.
    • Contact: The primary contact person or company for the branch, ensuring there is a designated point of communication.
    • Sales Person: The salesperson responsible for managing the branch's activities. This helps in tracking performance and responsibilities.
    • Area: Indicates the sales area or territory that the branch covers. This is useful for geographic segmentation of sales efforts.
    • Phone No: Displays the contact phone number for the branch. Users can click the phone icon to initiate a call directly if their device supports this feature.
    • Email: Shows the branch’s email address. Clicking the email icon allows you to send an email directly to the branch using your default email client.
    • Tax Group: Indicates the tax group under which the branch operates, such as GST. This ensures that the correct tax rates are applied to transactions involving the branch.
    • Edit Icon: Clicking the pencil icon allows you to edit the branch’s details directly from the list.
    • Delete Icon: The red "X" icon allows you to delete the branch record. As with customer records, deleting a branch is irreversible and should be done with caution.

How to Use:

  1. Filtering and Searching:

    • Use the Salesman dropdown to filter branches managed by specific salespersons. This is useful for reviewing branch performance and responsibilities.
    • Select the Tax Group to narrow down the list to branches operating under a specific tax regime.
    • Use the Search bar to find specific branches by entering relevant keywords, such as their name, contact details, or associated customer.
  2. Interacting with Branch Records:

    • Click on a branch’s name to view and edit detailed information.
    • Use the phone and email icons for quick communication with the branch’s contact.
    • Click the pencil icon to edit branch details directly from the list.
    • To remove a branch, click the red "X" icon, but be cautious as this action is permanent.
  3. Managing Branches:

    • Regularly review and update branch information to ensure that all contact, sales, and tax details are current.
    • Use the filters to focus on specific branches, such as those underperforming or requiring additional support.
