How to Use the Projects List

  1. Filter to active projects and sort by deadline.
  2. Compare Value, Costs and Invoiced — the three figures that say whether a project is healthy.
  3. Chase anything past its deadline still showing active.
  4. Raise a Project Invoice where work is complete but unbilled.
Value delivered but not invoiced is the number worth watching. A project sitting at full cost with little invoiced is work you have paid for and not yet been paid for — which is a cash flow problem before it is a profitability one.

Summary

The projects list answers three questions at once: what is running, what is late, and what is unbilled. It is only as accurate as the costs tagged to each project as they are incurred.
