Fixed Asset Reports
Fixed asset reporting is a single report: the valuation of everything on your asset register. It is what supports the property, plant and equipment figure on the balance sheet, and what an auditor asks for first.
Where to find it
Go to Reports > FixedAsset, set the filters on the right, then click Print.
Fixed Assets Valuation
Prints the value of your fixed assets — what they cost, what has been depreciated away, and what remains on the books.
| Figure | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Original cost | What each asset was acquired for. |
| Accumulated depreciation | Value written off since acquisition. |
| Net book value | Cost less depreciation — what the asset is worth on the balance sheet today. |
Run depreciation before printing the valuation. The report states book value as recorded, so a register with a run outstanding will overstate what you own — and the figure will not agree with the ledger.
