Nationalities

Nationalities

Nationalities is a reference list used on the employee profile. Maintaining it centrally keeps the value consistent across staff records, which matters wherever nationality drives reporting or statutory requirements.

Where to find it

Go to HRM > Settings > Nationalities.

Managing the list

ActionWhat it does
Add NewAdd a nationality to the list.
EditCorrect an entry.
DeleteRemove one no employee holds.

Where it is used

On the Personal Details tab of the employee record — see Add Employee. In several countries the mix of local and expatriate staff carries statutory reporting or quota requirements, which is what makes the field worth maintaining properly rather than leaving free text.

Add the nationalities you actually employ rather than a full country list. A short list gets chosen accurately; a long one gets whatever is nearest the top.
