Sidebar Menu Setup and Rearrangement
Sidebar Menu Setup rearranges the left-hand navigation. The default order suits most businesses, but the modules you use daily are not the same as everyone else's — this is where you move them to match how your team actually works.
Where to find it
Go to Setup > Display > Menu Setup.
What you can change
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Reorder items | Move menu entries so the modules you use most sit at the top. |
| Add a link | Add an entry pointing at another system, so staff reach it without leaving the sidebar. |
| Rearrange groups | Change how menu items are grouped together. |
The menu shows only what a user has permission to reach. Rearranging it does not grant access — a user without the module permission still will not see the entry. Access is set in Roles and Permissions.
