Rezo Settings
Rezo's settings describe your restaurant to the ERP: the shape of the floor, the tills on it, and where the money goes in the ledger. There is also a connection tab for the Rezo till app and a log showing what has synchronised.
Floor
| Tab | Sets up |
|---|---|
| Areas | The parts of the restaurant — terrace, bar, upstairs. |
| Tables | The tables in each area, with their covers. |
Menu
| Tab | Sets up |
|---|---|
| Menu Groups | How the menu and the till are divided. |
| Menu Items | The dishes, each on a sales kit. |
| Modifiers | Variations, priced or free. |
| Dayparts | When part of the menu is available. |
See Menu for what these mean in practice.
Terminals
The tills. Each terminal is registered so that orders, shifts and takings can be attributed to the till they came from, which is what makes a variance traceable to a drawer.
GL Accounts
Where restaurant activity posts: takings, payment types, and the variance account cash differences go to. Because a settled bill is an ordinary sales document, most of the accounting follows your existing item and customer setup — these settings cover what is specific to a till.
Rezo Connection
The connection between the till app and the ERP. The till can run standalone when the network is down and synchronise afterwards, so this is about how it reaches the ERP rather than whether service can continue without it.
Sync Activity
The log of what has synchronised and when. It is where to look when a till's orders have not appeared — the answer is normally visible here before anyone has to guess.
Link Seed
Used when connecting a till for the first time, to pair it with this company.
General
The app's own defaults. Changing settings needs the Settings permission; the menu tabs need Menu Setup and the terminals tab needs Terminals, so the person who arranges the menu need not be the person who administers tills.
