Job Types
Job Types classify the work your fleet does — scheduled collection, one-off clearance, emergency callout. The type drives how a job is priced, prioritised and reported, so it is worth defining before scheduling anything.
Where to find it
Go to EcoFleet > Settings > Job Types.
What a record holds

Managing the list
| Action | Notes |
|---|---|
| Add | Creates an entry. |
| Edit | Changes it. Existing records follow the new name. |
| Delete | Blocked while records still reference it — deactivate instead. |
Define types that price differently. If two kinds of job are billed the same way and reported together, they are one type — extra categories only make the scheduling dropdown longer.
