Ehsan Settings

Ehsan Settings

Ehsan Settings decides how the charitable contribution is calculated on your invoices — a fixed amount, a percentage of the total, or a figure attached to individual items. It is the one setting that determines everything the Ehsan register then shows.

Where to find it

Go to Banking > Settings > Ehsan Settings.

How the contribution is calculated

TypeWhat it does
Fixed Amount on InvoiceThe same contribution on every invoice, whatever its value.
Percentage of Invoice TotalA proportion of what the customer spent.
Item Based PricesA contribution attached to individual items, so only certain products carry one.

Select a Type chooses between them, and Update saves. The screen confirms with Settings updated successfully.

Changing the type does not restate what has already been collected. Existing entries keep the calculation that applied when their invoice was raised, which is correct — but it means the register will hold two methods side by side for a while.

Which type to choose

  • Fixed is simplest and easiest to explain to a customer.
  • Percentage scales with the sale, so large customers contribute more.
  • Item based is right when only some products should carry a contribution.
