Job Log

Job Log

Job Log records what actually happened on a run, as against what was scheduled. Start and end times, distance covered, fuel used and loads completed — the difference between the plan and the log is where fleet efficiency actually shows up.

Where to find it

Go to EcoFleet > Job Log.

What a log records

FieldDescription
JobThe scheduled job this run belongs to.
Start Time / End TimeWhen the run began and finished. Compare against the estimated duration.
StatusWhere the run stands.
Waste Collected (kg)How much came off the job.
Distance (km)Distance covered.
Fuel Used (litres)What the run consumed.
Fuel IssuedWhat was given to the vehicle for it.
Loads RecordedTrips actually completed against the number planned.
NotesAnything unusual about the run.
Fuel issued against fuel used is the number to watch. A persistent gap on one vehicle or one driver is either a mechanical problem or a fuel one, and the log is the only place it becomes visible.

What to use it for

  • Comparing estimated against actual duration, to make scheduling realistic.
  • Checking consumption per vehicle against its rated consumption.
  • Confirming loads completed before a job is invoiced.
