Districts

Districts

Districts defines the districts your tender projects are filed under. Government contracts are almost always organised geographically, so recording the district on a project is what lets you report by area and find the work belonging to one client office.

Where to find it

Go to TenderPro > Settings > Districts.

What a district is

A district is the smallest geographic unit, where the site actually is.

Managing the list

ActionNotes
AddCreates a district. Give it the name the client authority uses.
EditRenames it. Existing projects follow the new name.
DeleteBlocked while projects still reference it.
Mirror the client's own naming exactly. Every tender document, query and payment advice will use their terms — a private naming scheme means translating on every single one.
