Circles
Circles defines the circles your tender projects are filed under. Government contracts are almost always organised geographically, so recording the circle on a project is what lets you report by area and find the work belonging to one client office.
Where to find it
Go to TenderPro > Settings > Circles.
What a circle is
A circle is the division beneath a region, as most government authorities organise their operations.
The geographic hierarchy
| Level | Screen | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Region | Regions | The broadest division. |
| Circle | Circles | Sits inside a region. |
| District | Districts | The site level. |
Managing the list
| Action | Notes |
|---|---|
| Add | Creates a circle. Give it the name the client authority uses. |
| Edit | Renames it. Existing projects follow the new name. |
| Delete | Blocked while projects still reference it. |
Mirror the client's own naming exactly. Every tender document, query and payment advice will use their terms — a private naming scheme means translating on every single one.
