HRM: hiring to full and final
Employees, attendance, leave, payroll, loans and the final settlement in one module.
Hire and onboard, take attendance from the gate, the phone or the ERP login, approve leave, run the month’s payroll for a whole department and pay it from the bank. TamilAccounting keeps every step on the same employee record and posts it to the same books as the rest of your business.
Added through 2026: less typing at the gate, salary revisions in one sitting, and payslips staff can actually read.
Fingerprint, face and access-card terminals send their punches through the EdgeBridge app. Everyone enrolled on a terminal is listed, and linking someone enrolled late brings back the punches they already made.
Learn moreDaily Attendance marks every entry as a device punch, a portal clock-in with its address, an ERP login, a correction or a hand entry — with late, early and no punch-out flagged.
Watch the walkthroughSwitch it on for a department and the day’s first login marks the employee in. Once the work day ends, the punch-out comes from their last activity in the ERP.
Type a new gross on each row, let the grade follow its salary band, calculate the allowances and save only the rows you ticked.
Earnings, deductions and employer contributions in their own groups, with a leave table of entitled, this month, used this year and balance days.
The employee’s name stays pinned while the money scrolls; columns sit under Earnings, Cost to Company, Deductions and Net Pay bands, with the totals on a bar below.
Choose 30 days or actual working days. An absent day costs a day’s pay, and staying late is never charged as absence.
The benefit is worked from the last paid basic or the last paid gross, as your setting says, and the figure used is shown on the settlement and its reports.
Staff clock in, apply for leave, download payslips, file claims and ask for an advance; managers approve from the same portal — and HR can open it as the employee to see what they see.
Learn moreMost businesses run HR on an attendance register, a salary spreadsheet and the accountant’s memory. These are the problems that follow.
The device prints a report, someone keys it into a spreadsheet, someone else fixes the missing punches by hand. Nobody can say afterwards which entries were real.
Cost: disputes on payday, and pay for hours nobody worked.
A manager says yes in a chat, HR never hears of it, and the day shows up as an absence — or the balance is used twice.
Cost: wrong deductions and arguments over who had how many days.
Allowances, deductions and overtime live in formulas copied from last month. A revision for twenty people means twenty edits and a hope that none were missed.
Cost: payroll that cannot run when that person is on leave.
Who borrowed what, how much has come back and which month the instalment starts are tracked by hand — until someone forgets to deduct.
Cost: money lent and never recovered, especially when people leave.
What is my leave balance? Can you send my payslip again? Has my claim been paid? Every answer is in a file only HR can open.
Cost: HR time spent fetching instead of managing.
Salaries are worked out in one place and posted to the accounts in another, as a single lump. Departments, claims and loan recoveries disappear inside it.
Cost: a payroll cost you cannot break down, and a month end that waits for HR.
Each step reads the one before it, so nothing is entered twice — and the money steps post to the general ledger as they happen.
Employees, attendance, daily attendance, payroll, payments, reimbursements, loans, leave and assets are tabs of one HRM page.
A new employee is added through a wizard: employee information, contact details, personal details, job details, then allowances and leaves. Enter the gross and Calculate fills every allowance and picks the grade whose salary band it falls in.

Biometric terminals and door readers send punches through the EdgeBridge app; staff in the field clock in from the employee portal with their location; desk staff are marked in when they log in to the ERP. Daily Attendance then shows each day’s entries with clock-in, clock-out, worked hours and where each came from.

Leave types are set up once with their entitlements. Employees apply from the portal against their available balance, or HR enters the request. When it is approved, the days are written into attendance automatically, skipping weekly offs, and the balance updates.

Pick the month, a department or a grade, and Payroll Process works out allowances, deductions, taxes, overtime, loan instalments and absence together. Paying is a separate step: pay the department’s salaries from a bank or cash account, and each payslip is settled.

Salary Update lists your employees with their current gross and grade. Type the new gross on each row: the grade follows the salary band as you type, unless you pick one by hand, and Calculate fills every allowance the grade gives.
A salary advance is paid early and deducted in that month’s payroll. A loan is issued with its start date and number of instalments, with or without interest, and payroll recovers each instalment from the month you chose. Expense claims carry one line per expense with the bill attached, and are paid through the same screen as salary — or with the payroll.
The payslip PDF lists what was earned, what was deducted and what the company contributed on top — each in its own group with its own total — so the net pay can be checked without a calculator.
Below it, a leave table shows each leave type’s entitlement, the days taken this month, the days used this year and the balance. The same payslip is printed in bulk for a department, emailed, or downloaded by the employee from the portal.

Recorded on a demo company: employee records, attendance, leave, payroll and payment, claims and loans — plus the employee portal on a phone, and a fingerprint at the gate reaching the payslip.
Employees, attendance, leave, payroll, loans and the final settlement in one module.
Punch in, apply for leave, download payslips and file claims from any phone.
Set it once, and every payroll run, payslip and report reads from it.
Grades with salary bands decide which allowances apply; each allowance is a fixed amount, a percentage of basic or gross, or a formula.
Shift hours, grace times, half-day and absent rules, and the switch that turns on login attendance per department.
Overtime, special and holiday overtime factors, and public holidays that attendance and payroll respect.
An application form for your website’s careers page, protected against spam, that drops each resume into Candidates.
Assign laptops, phones and tools to an employee and record their return, separately from the fixed asset register.
Visa and immigration types, employee documents, medical premium and leave travel, switched on only where you need them.
Payroll, salary payments, claims, loan recoveries, leave encashment and end of service post to the general ledger as they happen.
Payslips, payroll history, monthly and annual summaries, attendance, leave, loans, reimbursements, encashment and end of service — to PDF or Excel.
Switching software is the hard part. We help you move, keep your records sound, and keep improving the system with you.
Move across from Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage 50 or SMACC, or from Excel templates for items, customers, suppliers, employees, chart of accounts and opening balances. You preview every row before it is saved — and our team helps you through it.
Your database is backed up three times a day — every 8 hours — and your files are backed up too. Each company keeps its own separate database; roles decide who can see, enter, approve or void; every change is on the audit trail; and everything exports to Excel or PDF whenever you want it.
We follow up regularly with the businesses that use it, and their requests become features. Updates arrive on your account automatically — nothing to download or reinstall.
GST e-invoice and e-way bill, ZATCA, WooCommerce, WhatsApp, biometric devices, online payment gateways, mobile apps and an AI assistant — and new connections are added as the market moves.
Biometric terminals and door readers connect through the EdgeBridge app, which runs on a computer in your office and links each device id to an employee. Staff without a device can clock in from the employee portal, be marked in when they log in to the ERP, or be entered by hand — and Daily Attendance shows which of these each entry came from.
Yes. A preference lets payroll run without attendance for staff on a fixed monthly salary. With attendance on, unpaid absence comes off the pay, worked over 30 days or the employee’s actual working days as you choose, and staying late is never counted as absence.
Deductions such as provident fund or social insurance are set up as pay components with your own rates and bases, and applied on every payslip. Nothing is hard-coded, so the same setup adapts to your rules.
Use Salary Update. It lists employees with their current gross and grade; type each new gross, let the grade follow the salary band or pick one, press Calculate to fill the allowances, and Update saves the ticked rows and records the increment in each employee’s history.
Yes. In the employee portal, on the web or a phone, staff clock in, see their attendance, request a correction, apply for leave against their balance, download payslips, file expense claims and request a salary advance. Managers approve their team’s requests from the same portal.
Each loan is issued with a start date and a number of instalments, with or without interest. Payroll deducts the instalment every month from the start date you chose, and the loan shows what has been recovered and what is still outstanding.
Where your country’s rules call for it — Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Botswana today — yes. The benefit is worked from the service period and the last paid basic or gross, pending leave encashment is added, and open loans and balances are netted off before the final payment.
Start free with your own employees and grades — and connect biometric attendance and the employee portal when you are ready.
