Maintenance Overview
The Overview is the first tab of MaintenPro and the one a maintenance supervisor lives on. Four cards across the top say how much work is outstanding, how much is being done right now, how much preventive work is coming due and what the month has cost. Below them are the two lists that turn that into action.
The cards
| Card | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Open Jobs | Jobs not yet completed, with how many are waiting for approval. |
| In Progress | Being worked on now. |
| Preventive Due | Schedules inside their lead time, and how many are past the scheduled date. |
| Cost This Month | Parts, labour and contractors, with the three figures broken out. |
| Done This Month | Jobs completed or closed in the month. |
Jobs Needing Attention
The open jobs, by job number, asset, priority, status and who they are with. This is the work queue — a job sitting here with nobody against it is the thing the Overview exists to make visible. When there is nothing outstanding the list says No open maintenance jobs rather than showing an empty table.
Preventive Maintenance Coming Up
Schedules approaching or past their next due date, with the asset, the frequency and the date. A row here means the work is due; whether a job has been raised for it depends on how the schedule is set — see Preventive schedules.
The Overdue count on the Preventive Due card is the number worth watching. Open jobs rise and fall with how busy you are, but overdue preventive work only ever goes one way until somebody does something about it.
Cost this month
The cost figure is built from three sources: spare parts issued through inventory adjustments, own labour valued at the hourly rate in settings, and contractor bills. Because parts and bills are ordinary ERP documents, the same money is visible in your stock and supplier reports — the card is the maintenance view of it, not a second set of books.
