Sales Persons / Salesman
Sales Persons (also known as Salesmen) are the team members who sell products directly to customers or businesses. In this system, each salesperson is connected to a specific user account to track their individual sales, manage cash and bank balances through POS terminals, and calculate commissions based on their performance.
How to Access
To manage your team, go to the Sales tab -> click the Settings in the top right corner -> and select Sales Persons from the navigation menu. Here, you can view your current sales team, monitor their commission rates, and add new members.

The list provides an overview of your active sales staff and their financial settings:
- Name: The display name of the salesperson.
- User Account: The registered system user linked to this salesperson for login and tracking.
- Phone / Email: Primary contact details for the salesperson.
- Provision: The standard commission percentage earned on sales.
- Break Pt: The turnover threshold (Break Point) that triggers a change in commission rates.
- Provision 2: The secondary commission percentage applied once the Break Point level is reached.

Adding a New Sales Person
When you click + Add New, a window appears with the following fields:
- Select User: Choose an existing system user to link to this salesperson profile. If the user isn't created yet, click the + icon to add one.
- Sales person name: Enter the full name of the staff member.
- Telephone / Fax / E-mail: Enter the professional contact information for the salesperson.
- Provision (%): Set the base percentage of commission they receive for their sales.
- Turnover Break Pt Level: Define a specific sales target amount. This acts as a milestone for higher commission brackets.
- Provision 2 (%): Set the increased commission rate that applies after the salesperson exceeds the Break Point level.
- Inactive Management: By ticking the Show also Inactive box at the bottom of the list, the user can view everyone, including staff members who have been deactivated. From here, the user can use the red Inactive toggle to switch a salesperson between Active (No) and Inactive (Yes). This allows the user to reactivate / deactivate a team member at any time without deleting their records.
POS and Cash Control
Beyond just tracking sales, the system allows you to allocate specific Point Of Sales (terminals) to your salesmen. This gives you granular control over:
- Cash Balance: Real-time monitoring of physical cash held by the salesperson at their terminal.
- Virtual Payments: Tracking of mobile and bank transfers collected by the salesperson, which reflect immediately in your financial reports.
- Accountability: Ensures that every billed item and service is mapped to the person responsible for the transaction.
