HRM Overview
The HRM Overview is the landing tab of the module. It shows headcount, payroll for the month, who is present today, what leave is waiting on approval and who has recently joined — the people picture in one screen.
Where to find it
Go to HRM. Overview is the first tab.
Summary cards
| Card | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Active Staff | Employees currently active, against the number resigned. |
| Present Today | Employees marked present today. |
| Payroll (Month) | Monthly net payroll, with how many payslips have been processed and whether they are paid. |
| Pending Leave Requests | Requests awaiting approval. Reads No pending leaves when clear. |
| New Joiners | Staff who joined this month. |
| Resigned | Total employees who have left. |
Present Today against Active Staff is the fastest attendance check available. A large gap with no corresponding approved leave usually means attendance has not been entered rather than that the office is empty.
Employees By Department
Headcount broken down by department, with anything unassigned grouped as Other. A large Other means employees are being created without a department, which then breaks payroll filtering and attendance rules.
Monthly Net Payroll — Last 6 months
Net payroll over time. It shows the direction of your largest recurring cost, and a step change usually traces to a hiring round, a salary revision or a month where attendance was incomplete.
Pending Leaves
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Employee | Who requested leave. |
| Department | Which department they are in. |
| Type | The leave type requested. |
| Date / Days | When and for how long. |
| Status | Awaiting approval. |
New Joiners
Staff who joined this month, with name, department and joining date. Reads No new joiners this month when there are none.
Using the Overview day to day
- Check Pending Leave Requests — unanswered requests become payroll problems.
- Compare Present Today with active staff to spot missing attendance early.
- Check payroll is marked paid once processed.
- Watch net payroll over six months rather than reacting to one.
