Printer Settings
Printer Settings register the printers available on your network so documents can be sent to a specific device rather than whatever the browser happens to offer. It matters most where different documents belong on different machines.
Where to find it
Go to Setup > Display > Printer.
When you need this
On networked machines, several printers usually serve different purposes — a receipt printer at the till, a laser printer in the office, a label printer in the warehouse. Registering them lets the system direct each document to the right one.
How printers and profiles work together

| Print Profile | Which printer a given document type goes to. See Print Profiles. |
Register the printers first, then build the profiles that point at them.
