ZATCA Overview
The ZATCA Overview is the compliance dashboard: how many invoices have been cleared or reported, how many are waiting, and how many failed. On a healthy setup it is a page you glance at; the number that matters is the failures, because an invoice ZATCA did not accept is a compliance problem until somebody deals with it.
What it shows
| Figure | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Cleared | Standard (B2B) invoices ZATCA has accepted. |
| Reported | Simplified (B2C) invoices ZATCA has accepted. |
| Pending | Not yet sent. |
| Submitted | Sent, awaiting an answer. |
| Failed | Not accepted. These need attention. |
| Voided | The underlying document was voided. |
Compliance status
The Overview also states where your setup stands: whether onboarding is complete, whether the compliance check has passed and when it was last run, and which environment you are in. It is the quickest way to answer "are we actually live" without walking through the wizard.
Reading it
| What you see | What it usually means |
|---|---|
| Pending is growing | Submission is set to manual and nobody is pressing the button, or submission is failing before it reaches ZATCA. |
| Submitted is growing | Invoices are going out but answers are not coming back. Use Check Status on the sales list. |
| Failed is not zero | Open them. The reason is on each record. |
| Everything cleared or reported | What it should look like. |
Where to go next
Sales e-Invoices is where you act on anything the Overview flags. The Audit Trail is where you find out what happened and when.
A standard invoice that has not cleared should not be with the customer. Clearance comes before issue for B2B, so a growing pending or failed count on standard invoices is not a backlog to catch up on later — it is invoices that cannot properly be issued yet.
