Waste Collection
Waste Collection records what was collected on a job — the type, the weight, the loads used and where it was disposed of. This is the compliance record as much as the operational one: waste has to be accounted for from collection through to lawful disposal.
Where to find it
Go to EcoFleet > Waste Collection.
What a collection records
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Job | The job the collection belongs to. |
| Location | Where it was collected from. |
| Sewage Pond | The disposal site, where the waste goes to a pond. |
| Waste Type | What was collected, from Waste Types. |
| Quantity (kg) | How much. |
| Loads Used | How many trips it took. |
| Collection Date | When. |
| Disposal Method | How it was disposed of, from Disposal Methods. |
| Coupons Used | Disposal coupons consumed at the site. |
| Notes | Anything to record about the collection. |
Record the disposal method every time, even when it is always the same. The chain from collection to disposal is exactly what an environmental inspection asks for, and a blank field on one record undermines the whole log.
Coupons
Where a disposal site works on coupons, the number consumed is recorded against the collection — so coupon stock can be reconciled against the waste actually disposed of.
