New Company
New Company creates a customer and their first company in one pass. It is the standard way a reseller onboards someone: you enter who they are, choose the pack they are buying, and the system builds them a working ERP with its own database and a login they can use immediately.
Where to find it
Go to New + > New Company. The same form is also reached from Customers > New > Customer — they are identical, so use whichever route you are already in.
Before you start
- At least one pack must exist in Pack Setup, with a price in the customer's currency.
- Decide whether this is a trial or a live paid subscription — it changes what the form asks for.
What to fill in
| Column | What goes here |
|---|---|
| Customer information | Who they are — name, address, contact. This is a normal customer record and behaves like any other. |
| Company details | The company being created. Email and password are mandatory. |
| Pack | The subscription they are being put on. |
Copy the password before you save. It is displayed once on the form and is what the customer uses to log in for the first time — if you lose it they will need a reset before they can get in.
Trial or live
| Choice | What happens |
|---|---|
| Trial | The company runs for the trial period set on the pack. No invoice is raised. |
| Live | The subscription starts paid. Tick Create New Invoice to bill it, and Record Payments as well if you have already been paid. |
What happens on save
- A database is created for the new company.
- The subscription is opened against the chosen pack.
- The login is activated and the customer can sign in.
- The company appears in Companies and its subscription in Company Subscriptions.
