Calendar Settings
Calendar Settings decides which sources appear on your calendar, what colour each carries, and how far ahead you are reminded. It is what keeps the calendar useful rather than crowded.
Where to find it
Go to Calendar > Settings.
Field reference
| Setting | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Default view | Whether the calendar opens on Month, Day or Agenda. |
| Default reminder (minutes before) | How much notice new events give by default. |
| Category / Colour | The colour each source and category is drawn in. |
| Sources | Which of CRM tasks, reminders, project deadlines, customer dues, invoices, post-dated cheques and EMD/SD dates are shown. |
Scanning for events
Scan now rebuilds the calendar from the underlying records. It reports Scanning… while it runs and Scan failed if it cannot complete — worth running after a bulk import, when many dated records arrive at once.
Turn off the sources you do not act on. A calendar showing every invoice due date across the company is a wall of colour nobody reads — one showing only what you personally have to do gets checked every morning.
