Customer Contacts List
The Contact View is the profile of one person at a customer account. Where the customer record handles the legal and financial side, this is the human one — who to call about an order, a payment or a delivery.
Where to find it
Open any contact from the Contacts List, or from the Contacts tab of the Customer View.
Contact Information
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The person's full name. |
| Customer / Branch | The account and location they belong to. |
| Designation | Their role, which tells you what to contact them about. |
| Phone / Mobile | Direct contact numbers. |
| Where correspondence is sent. | |
| Contact Type | Which documents this person receives — invoices, statements, delivery notifications or general correspondence. |
Administrative Actions
Edit updates the contact and it can be retired when the person leaves, without disturbing correspondence already sent.
Keep Contact Type accurate. It governs who actually receives each document, so an invoice addressed to the wrong person is usually a contact-type problem rather than an email problem.
