Commission Rates
Commission Rates defines what agents or introducers earn on loans they bring in. The rate is held against the loan so commission is calculated from a defined figure rather than worked out separately when it comes time to pay.
Where to find it
Go to Customer Loan > Settings > Commission Rates.
Field reference
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | What the commission arrangement is called. |
| Commission Rate (%) | The percentage earned. |
| Charge To | Whether the commission is a cost to you or recovered from the borrower. |
Be explicit about who bears the commission. Charged to the borrower it raises their effective rate; borne by you it reduces your margin — and a rate created without that decision made gets applied inconsistently.
Where commission posts
Commission is recorded against the Default Commission Account set in Settings, keeping it separate from interest so acquisition cost is visible on its own.
