Customer Loans
The Loans tab on a customer record shows everything that customer has borrowed from you — every loan, its balance and where it stands. It is the lending history you read before deciding whether to lend again.
Where to find it
Open a customer and select the Loans tab.
What it shows
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Loan # | The loan reference. |
| Loan Created Date | When it was issued. |
| Initial Capital | The amount lent. |
| Capital Balance | What is still owed. |
| Dues Pending | Instalments remaining. |
| Days Overdue | How late, if at all. |
| Status | Active, closed, pre-closed or restructured. |
Read the arrears history, not just the balance. A borrower who has repaid everything but was late on most of it is a different proposition from one who paid on time — and only the first is visible from the closing balance.
