Public Holidays
The "Add Public Holidays" form allows you to specify public holidays for a specific fiscal year and state. This functionality helps ensure that public holidays are properly recorded in the system, affecting work schedules, payroll, and other related processes.
To set up Public Holidays, go to HRM > Settings > Gazetted Holidays > AddNew
Fill in the Details
Fiscal Year: Select the fiscal year from the dropdown.
State: Choose the appropriate state from the dropdown list.
Date: Enter the date of the public holiday using the date picker.
Reason: Provide a reason or name for the holiday.
Inactive: Check the box if the holiday entry should be inactive.(unchecked, meaning the holiday is active)
We can edit and delete holidays in the system.Once a holiday is used, it cannot be deleted.Adding public holidays ensures that your organization's calendar is accurate and up-to-date, which is crucial for scheduling, payroll, and other time-sensitive processes. Make sure to review holiday entries periodically and update them as necessary.
