Inventory and Services Listing Page
The Inventory List provides a centralized view of all stock items and services within your system. From this dashboard, you can monitor stock levels, track unit costs, and manage retail pricing. Maintaining an accurate inventory list ensures that your sales and procurement workflows remain synchronized with your physical stock. To access this list, navigate to Inventory > Click the "Inventory" Tab.
Filters Section
Filters help you quickly locate specific products or groups of items within your database.
- Item Type: Filter by "All", "Stock Item", "Services", or "Fixed Assets".
- Show also Inactive: Use this toggle to include or hide items that have been deactivated from the system.
- Select Location: View stock levels specifically for a chosen warehouse or branch.
- Select A Category: Narrow down the list by choosing a specific product category (e.g., Other Supply Materials).
- Select Tax Type: Filter items based on their assigned tax rate (e.g., GST 18%).
- Search: Enter a Stock ID or Item Name into the search bar to find a specific record instantly.
New Item | Service
Next to the filter system is the + New Item | Service button. Clicking this will open the creation form to add a new product, service, or asset to your registry.
Inventory Table
This table displays the core data for your items based on the applied filters.
- Stock ID: The unique identification code for the item.
- Name: The descriptive name of the item. Clicking the name usually opens the Item Profile.
- Category: The group classification the item belongs to.
- Tax Type: The default tax rule applied to the item for sales and purchases.
- Unit: The unit of measure (e.g., "E" for Each).
- Std Cost: The standard or average purchase cost of the item.
- Retail: The current selling price assigned to the item.
- On Hand: The total physical quantity currently in the warehouse.
- Demand: The quantity currently committed to open sales orders or internal requisitions.
- Available: The net quantity available for sale (On Hand minus Demand).
- On PO Order: The quantity currently pending arrival from open Purchase Orders.
Action Buttons & Bulk Management
You can manage individual items or perform bulk actions using the following tools:
- Edit (Pencil Icon): Modify the item's specifications, pricing, or tax settings.
- Delete (Trash Icon): Remove an individual item from the inventory list (only available if the item has no transaction history).
- Selection Checkboxes: Use the checkboxes on the left side of the table to select multiple items for bulk processing.
- Delete All: Located at the bottom left, this button allows you to delete all selected items in a single action.
