Proposal Inquiry
The Proposals list holds every written offer sent to win work. Because proposals can go to leads as well as customers, this list spans prospects who are not yet accounts — which is what separates it from the quotations list.

When a proposal is accepted
- Convert the lead into a customer, if it is not one already.
- Move the proposal into a sales order.
- Fulfil and invoice through the normal Sales chain.
A proposal to a lead is the one document that can precede a customer record. That is deliberate — you bid for work before the prospect is an account, and the account is created when you win.
