Audit Trail System
The System Audit Trail records what was done across the companies you manage — which user, in which company, in which financial year, at what time, and what the action was. It is the record you go to when a figure changed and nobody remembers changing it.
Where to find it
Go to Company > Audit Trail System.
What the trail shows

Filters
| Filter | Notes |

| User | Narrow to one person. |
| Date range | The period in question. |
How to investigate something
- Start from the date the figure was last known correct.
- Filter to that company and that range.
- Work forward until the action appears.
- Note the user, then check Login Failures and Active Users if you are not sure the login was legitimate.
Support logins appear here under the customer's user, not yours. If you have used the Users List login button, remember that anything you did is recorded against them — which is why it is worth telling the customer before you do it.
