Customer Branches View
The Branch View is the full record for one delivery location under a customer. It confirms the logistical and accounting settings that apply to this site alone — which matters most where a customer's branches sit in different states or draw from different warehouses.
Where to find it
Open any branch from the Branches List, or from the Branches tab of the Customer View.
Name and Contact
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Customer | The parent this branch belongs to. |
| Branch Name | The location name shown on delivery documents. |
| Branch Reference | The short code identifying it. |
| Tax Group | How tax is calculated for this location. |
Sales
The sales area, salesperson and default supplying warehouse for this branch — the settings that populate automatically when a document is raised against it.
GL Accounts (Accounting Mapping)
Receivables, sales and discount accounts specific to this branch. Blank inherits from the customer, and then from System and GL Setup.
General Contact Data
Phone, email and the contact person at this site.
Addresses
| Address | Used for |
|---|---|
| Delivery Address | Where goods go. Populates every delivery for this branch. |
| Postal / Billing Address | Where the invoice is sent, when different. |
Administrative Actions
Edit updates the branch; the inactive toggle retires a closed location while keeping the deliveries made to it.
Check the Tax Group before invoicing a new branch. It lives here rather than on the customer precisely so that a branch in another state gets the correct tax treatment — and nothing else will flag it if it is wrong.
