Woocommerce Customers list
The WooCommerce Customers List brings shopper data from your store into the ERP and links the two records together. A new sign-up on the website reaches the ERP immediately through the webhook, so customer records stay consistent without anyone copying them across.
Customers List
The feature imports customer data from your store, so new sign-ups are reflected in the ERP and existing customers in both systems are connected. Whenever someone signs up, or is created from the WooCommerce dashboard, that data comes back to the ERP through the store's webhook.
The webhook must be configured to receive customer sign-ups, or nothing arrives. If new shoppers are not appearing, check the webhook before anything else — see Configurations.
Guest Checkout/Customer
Guest checkout has no customer account behind it, so it needs a Default User set on the WooCommerce settings page. Every guest order is then recorded against that single ERP customer, and you can work through them afterwards.
| Registered shopper | Guest checkout | |
|---|---|---|
| ERP record | Their own customer record. | The shared default user. |
| History | Builds up against them. | Pooled with every other guest. |
| Set up in | Automatic on sign-up. | General Settings. |
Benefits of Using the WooCommerce Customers List Feature
| Benefit | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Accurate order processing | Up-to-date customer data means orders process correctly first time. |
| Effective customer management | Consistent records across both platforms, for better service. |
| Targeted marketing | Synchronised data makes campaigns worth running. |
Keeping customer data consistent across the store and the ERP is what makes the rest of the integration trustworthy.
