Quality Overview
The Overview is the first tab of the Quality page and the one to start the day on. It answers four questions at a glance: what is waiting on somebody, what is blocked, how well the work is going out right first time, and what the failures are costing. Every card links straight to the list behind it.
The cards
| Card | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Inspection Lots | Lots awaiting a decision, lots overdue, and lots whose stock is blocked. |
| Inspections | Passed, failed and on hold for the period, with the total failed quantity. |
| First-Pass Yield | How many document lines passed first time, out of the lines inspected. |
| Holds Needing Action | Open and quarantined holds, and how many distinct items they cover. |
| NCR | Non-conformance reports raised in the period, and how many are past their disposition days. |
| CAPA | Open corrective and preventive actions overdue, and individual actions running late. |
| Gauges Due | Measuring equipment with calibration due within fourteen days, or already overdue. |
| Cost of Poor Quality | The cumulative cost recorded on the period's non-conformance reports. |
The panels below
| Panel | What it shows |
|---|---|
| First-pass yield by week | The trend, so a bad week is visible against the ones around it rather than in isolation. |
| Defects found, most first | The defect catalog entries ranked by how often they were recorded, with the count found. |
| Lots Needing Attention | Lots by document, item, status, assignee and due date — the work queue. |
| Approval | Open CAPAs and what stage each is at. |
The period
Every tab of the Quality page shares one date filter. It defaults to the first of the current month up to today. Change the range and press Search; the cards, the weekly trend and the defect ranking all move with it. The gauge card is the exception — calibration is due on its own dates, not on yours, so it always looks fourteen days ahead of today.
A blank Overview on a new company is normal. Nothing is counted until items are set to be inspected — see Item quality settings.
