Movements

The Fixed Asset Movement screen allows you to track and monitor the movement of your fixed assets over a specified period. This screen provides a detailed view of the assets' quantity in, quantity out, and quantity on hand across different locations and dates.

Key Components:

  1. Filters and Search:

    • Location: Select the specific location from the dropdown to filter asset movements based on their physical location.
    • Date Range: Choose the date range within which you want to view the asset movement. The date range can be selected using the calendar icon.
    • Batch No: If applicable, you can filter movements by specific batch numbers associated with the assets.
  2. Movement Summary:

    • Type: The type of asset movement, typically categorized by "Quantity on hand before" and "Quantity on hand after" the selected dates.
    • Reference: Provides a reference to the specific asset movement event.
    • Standard Cost: Displays the standard cost of the asset at the time of movement.
    • Date: The date of the asset movement.
    • Detail: Additional details about the movement event.
    • Batch No: Shows the batch number associated with the asset (if applicable).
    • Quantity In: Indicates the quantity of the asset moved into the location.
    • Quantity Out: Indicates the quantity of the asset moved out of the location.
    • Quantity On Hand: Displays the total quantity of the asset currently on hand after considering the "Quantity In" and "Quantity Out" movements.
  3. Usage:

    • Use the Search button after setting the filters to generate a report of the fixed asset movements based on the selected criteria.
    • This report helps in monitoring the flow of assets, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and assisting in inventory audits.
