Quotations List

The Quotations List shows every quotation created in TamilAccounting. From here you can filter and review quotes, see which have been accepted or have expired, and convert them straight into a Sales Order or an Invoice without re-keying anything.

Where to find it

Go to Sales > Quotations.

Filters Section

Filter	What it does
Reference	Search by quotation reference number.
Date Range	Show quotations between a From and To date.
Location	Filter by the delivery location selected on the quotation.
Item	Filter by a specific item added to the quotation.
Salesman	Show quotations handled by a particular salesperson.
Customer	Filter to one customer, or choose All Customers for everything.
Status	Filter by quotation status — see the table below.
Branch	Filter by branch. Only visible when Setup > Preferences > Use Branches Only is enabled.
Department	Filter by department. Only visible when Setup > Preferences > Use Branches and Department is enabled.

New Quotation

Next to the filters is the + New Quotation button, which opens the Quotation entry form.

Quotation Table

Column	Description
Quote #	The quotation reference. Click it to open the Sales Quotation View.
Customer	The customer name. Click it to open the customer detail page.
Branch	The branch the quotation was created under.
Cust Order Ref	The customer reference entered when the quotation was created.
Quote Date	The date the quotation was created.
Valid until	The expiry date defined on the quotation.
Delivery To	The delivery address or customer location.
Quote Total	The total value of the quotation.

Quotation Status

Status	Meaning
Open	Active and pending conversion.
Ordered	Fully converted into a sales order.
Partially Ordered	Only some of the quoted items have been converted into an order.
Expired	Past its Valid until date and no longer active.
Free Sales	Created with a zero total value.
Draft	Saved but not finalised.

An Expired quotation can still be converted — the status is informational, not a block. Re-check the pricing before turning an old quote into an order.

Share Link Option

Clicking the Share Link icon next to the status button opens a pop-up where you can share via Email, share via WhatsApp, or copy the quotation link.

More Options (Action Menu)

Action	What it does
Edit	Modify the quotation details.
Sales Order	Convert the quotation into a Sales Order. See Quotation to Sales Order.
Invoice	Generate a Sales Invoice directly from the quotation.
Mail	Send the quotation by email.
Print	Print the quotation.
Void	Cancel a quotation that is no longer valid or needed.

Direct Invoice — bill immediately instead
