Employee Inquiry is the central list of staff. It is where you find a person, check their details, and reach everything else about them — their payslips, attendance, leave and documents all hang off this record.
Where to find it
Go to HRM > Employees.
To apply filters
| Filter | What it does |
| Search | Find an employee by name or staff number. |
| Department | Show one department. |
| Designation | Filter by job title. |
| Grade | Filter by salary grade. |
| Status | Active or resigned staff. |
List columns
| Column | Description |
| Employee ID | The staff number. |
| Name | Click it to open the Employee View. |
| Department / Designation | Where they sit and what they do. |
| Grade | Their salary grade. |
| Date of Joining | When employment started. |
| Status | Active or resigned. |
More Options

| Edit | Update the employee record. |
| Print | Produce a copy of the record. |
| Delete | Remove an employee with no history. |
An employee with payroll history cannot be deleted — payslips, payments and attendance all reference them. Mark them resigned instead, which removes them from active lists and payroll while keeping the history intact.
