Point of Sale Settings
There we have a Point of Sales module in the core. Which actually needs some connectivity with User, salesman, inventory(store) location, terminal, and cash balance with separate cash account. This page is so simple with few fields, But its important with the Terminals, Here each point of sales terminals considered to be an entry in this settings table. If you have 10 terminals. you need to have ten entries here. (Terminals are selling point, where the salesman stand with a pc to bill the items chosen by the customer).To create Point of Sale Settings, go to Setup > Display >Point of Sale
Users
We have users, who are all getting access to login to our system, They can only able to access the system to make entries.
Salesman
The salesman is connected with customer and the Selling point, which also connects with user to get the break point, provisioning points for the salesman.
Store or location
The inventory location or the store location is really necessary, where he is going to sell the items, if you have multiple locations, he can stand in one location and sell your goods from that store.
Cash Balance and Bank accounts
The Cash balance is daily maintained and also reported by end of the day. We recommend, maintain separate cash accounts for each terminals, so that you can calculate the end of the day cash balances, without clashing with another sales person.
