Inspections List

Inspections List

The Inspections tab is every inspection recorded in the period, whatever document it came from. Where the Lots tab is a queue of work still to do, this is the record of work already done — the list you search when somebody asks what was checked, by whom, on what date and with what result.

What a row shows

ColumnMeaning
DocumentThe receipt, run, transfer, delivery or credit note inspected, linking back to it.
SourceWhich of the five kinds it is — Incoming Goods, Production, Location Transfer, Outgoing Goods or Customer Return.
Item / BatchWhat was inspected.
Inspector / Inspected OnWho and when.
Quantity Inspected / Quantity FailedHow many were looked at and how many did not pass.
ResultPass, Fail or Hold, as a badge.

The period filter

The list is driven by the Inspected date range shared with the rest of the Quality page, defaulting to the current month to date. Set the range and press Search.

Editing and deleting

Each row offers edit and delete. Both are refused once the inspection's lot has been decided, or a hold or NCR has been raised from it — the screen says which, rather than failing silently. Deleting needs delete permission on the kind of document the inspection was against, so someone who cannot void a GRN cannot delete its inspection either.

The same list elsewhere

They are the same list with a filter applied, and they behave identically — see Quality in the rest of the ERP.
