Reseller Usage
Reseller Usage reports what each company under a reseller is actually consuming — how many users it holds, how many of those are active, and how much storage it has taken. It is the evidence behind a bill and the first place to look when a charge is questioned.
Where to find it
Go to Company > Reseller Usage, then select a reseller from the dropdown.
Overall summary
| Figure | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Total Users | Every user account across the reseller's companies. |
| Active Users | How many of those are in use. This is the figure billing follows. |
| Total Storage Usage (MB) | Attachments and files across all their companies. |
Companies usage
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Company Name | The company. |
| DB Name | Its database, which is what support will ask for. |
| Total Users | User accounts on that company. |
| Active Users | How many are active. |
| Storage Usage (MB) | Space consumed. |
The gap between total and active users is where money is usually being wasted. Accounts left behind by staff who have gone still count towards the total, and clearing them is the simplest saving a customer can make.
Using the figures
- Before a renewal — check whether the pack's user limit still fits, and sell extra users rather than let the customer hit the cap mid-month.
- When a bill is queried — this screen shows the counts the charge was calculated from.
- When storage climbs — an attachment-heavy company may be better on an extra storage pack than repeatedly asking for more space.
If the reseller has no companies yet, the screen says so rather than showing an empty table.
