EcoFleet System Settings
System Settings configures EcoFleet for your operation — the ledger accounts collections and costs post to, and how the module behaves. It is the first screen to visit on a new installation, before any vehicle or job is created.
Where to find it
Go to EcoFleet > Settings > System Settings.
What it controls
| Area | What it decides |
|---|---|
| Ledger accounts | Where job revenue, fuel cost and maintenance cost post. |
| Contractor Billing | How work carried out by contractors is billed and recorded. |
| Coupon Management | How disposal coupons are held and consumed. |
| Module behaviour | Defaults applied across jobs, logs and collections. |
Set the accounts before the first job is invoiced. Revenue and cost posted to a default account are difficult to separate afterwards, and fleet profitability is exactly the thing this module exists to make visible.
Demo data
EcoFleet can install a set of demo records — vehicles, drivers, locations, coupons, sewage ponds, customers, jobs, job logs, waste collections, fuel logs, licence types, vehicle licences and maintenance records — to try the module out. Clearing it removes those records again.
Clear the demo data before going live. Demo vehicles and jobs left in place get scheduled by mistake, and their figures land in the same reports as your real ones.
Reference data
The rest of the setup lives in its own screens: Vehicles, Drivers, Locations, Waste Types, Disposal Methods, Fuel Stations, Service Stations, Maintenance Types, Vehicle Types and Job Types.
